About Asst. Prof. Dr. Md. Masum Uddin

Dr. Md. Masum Uddin is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), Dhaka, with over 15 years of medical experience. He earned his MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College, Barishal, in 2012 and completed four years of postgraduate training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. In January 2022, he achieved the prestigious FCPS in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation from the Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS). He also qualified through the 33rd BCS (Health) examination and is registered with the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC Reg. No. A63267). Dr. Masum is a Member of the American College of Physicians (MACP, USA) and has completed EULAR training in Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography (MSUS) in Switzerland. His clinical interests include Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Arthritis, Rheumatology, Musculoskeletal Disorders, Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography (MSUS), Orthopedic Rehabilitation, and Neurorehabilitation. He is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. In addition to his academic responsibilities at NITOR, Dr. Masum actively contributes to medical research and has published seven papers in respected national and international peer-reviewed journals. He consults patients regularly in Dhaka and Narayanganj. In Dhaka, he is available on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 4:00–6:30 PM at Ibn Sina Diagnostic Center (Building 2), Malibagh, and from 7:30–9:30 PM at Popular Diagnostic Center, Jatrabari. In Narayanganj, he consults on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday from 4:00–6:00 PM at Pro-Active Medical College Hospital, Signboard More, and from 7:00–9:00 PM at LabAid Diagnostic, Chashara.
